In March we always celebrate the Relief Society's Birthday -
from when it was organized over 100 years ago.
My calling in our ward is the Enrichment Leader.
with the help of the helpful and dutiful friends on the Enrichment Committee, look what we were able to do!
Our theme:
{To Cheer and To Bless}
We went for the pioneer look and everyone just brought what we had-
Here are some of our fun tables.
All the ladies signed-up to bring stew or soup or chili
and for dessert we got to gobble warm pies and cobblers!
All the Young Women (12yr. and older) were also invited and it was fun to have them!
We had a few short speakers that did amazing.
Then we went to work
Our goal was to get enough donations-
(again, everyone signed up to donate what they could)
to do 50 Hygiene Kits for the Humanitarian Center.
What was awesome?
They donated enough for us to do 75 Hygiene Kits!
I wish I would of taken pictures of the tables piled high with all the clean smelling soaps, the stacks of folded towels, and the toothbrushes, and combs!
That was an awesome sight!
Then everyone got her own jar

did you say pies?! cobblers?! chili?! soup?! butter?! I liked the pioneer theme; let's do all that the next time all us sisters together!
I'll be one of your sisters if you'll make me some cobbler, too.
An incredible job well done. I'd expect nothing less, my dear.
